Each step of the educational process, from admission through graduation, requires continuing review and appropriate approval by college officials. The college, therefore, reserves the right to change the requirements contained in this bulletin, to determine whether a student has satisfactorily met the requirements for admission or graduation, and to reject any applicant for admission for any reason the college determines to be material to the applicant’s qualifications to pursue higher education.
Statement of Nondiscrimination and Affirmative Action
Pursuant to the philosophy of the Rhode Island Board of Education, Rhode Island College does not discriminate on the basis of race, color, creed, national or ethnic origin, gender, religion, disability, age, sexual orientation, genetic information, gender identity or expression, marital, citizenship status or status as a special disabled veteran, recently separated veteran, Vietnam Era veteran, or any other veteran who served in active duty during a war or in a campaign or expedition for which a campaign badge has been authorized (except in those special circumstances permitted or mandated by law).
