Computer Science Learning Goals

B A in Computer Science Program Goals

Goal 1: Core mastery

Students will acquire a background in the content and methodology of computer science.

Objective 1: Students will understand and use basic programming concepts and

techniques.

Objective 2: Students will understand and use basic concepts and techniques in computer

organization, architecture and operating systems.

 

Goal 2: Application

Students will apply their knowledge of computer science to solve problems.

Objective 1: Students will use problem-solving skills to design, implement and test

programs individually.

Objective 2: Students will use problem-solving skills to design, implement and test

programs as a member of a team.
