Admission Requirements
The Certificate in Cybersecurity is designed for non-matriculating students looking to earn a credential in Cybersecurity. This includes students who currently have or do not have a bachelor’s degree. Course requirements are the same as the requirements for the Minor in Cybersecurity. Non-matriculating students can receive only a certificate, not a minor, in Cybersecurity.
Admissions requirements are the following:
- A completed application form accompanied by a $50 non-refundable application fee.
- College transcripts or High School Diploma/Equivalent.
- The admissions process will include an evaluation of math skills required by the College Math Milestone, which is a prerequisite of CSCI 102. The math placement exam and/or additional math courses may be needed.
Retention Requirements
Maintaining a 2.0 GPA in the program is required.
