Students
must consult with their assigned advisor before they will be able to register for courses. A graded writing assignment is required in
every course.
Course Requirements
The minor in finance consists of a minimum of 20 credit hours (five courses), as follows:
| FIN 301 | Financial Management | 4 | Fall, Spring, Summer. |
| FIN 432 | Investments | 4 | Fall, Spring. |
AND THREE ADDITIONAL courses in finance at the 400-level.
Note: The prerequisites for
FIN 301 are
ACCT 201 and
MATH 177. The prerequisites for
FIN 432 are
FIN 301 and
MATH 248.
